OVO approached us with a request to refresh their brand values in an engaging way. A team of three came up with a concept after researching the values, studying the client's brand guidelines, and determining their preferred animation style. The chosen concept was then storyboarded, with an emphasis on seamless transitions between scenes. Due to a tight deadline, I animated the project alone and delivered it in time for the event. The animation was well received by the client's team and was a pleasure to work on.

This was a personal project aimed at showcasing Monzo's ability to address the unique challenges faced by digital nomads. The animation was designed to demonstrate how Monzo can provide solutions for both day-to-day and long-term issues. Utilizing Monzo's existing card character and brand guidelines, I crafted a storyboard that followed the journey of the main character and the challenges he encountered. The animation effectively brought the character to life and engaged the viewer. To enhance the project, I recorded a professional voice-over, selected fitting music, and added appropriate sound effects. The animation was created in accordance with Monzo's established brand guidelines to ensure consistency and brand recognition.

As a member of the creative team, I was tasked with creating an animated introduction for new employees at Sequel. The animation was to serve as a visual representation of the company's offerings, services, and personnel, serving as an informative and engaging tool for new hires.
The project presented several challenges, including a large amount of information to convey, the requirement for an organizational chart, and the limitations of a tight budget and timeline. Despite these challenges, I approached the project with a strategic and systematic approach, carefully considering the duration of each scene and the transitions between them to streamline the production process.
The end result was a polished and professional animation that was well-received by the team. The addition of music in line with the company's brand theme further enhanced the overall impact of the animation. It is now regularly presented to new employees during the onboarding process.

Working alongside the creative director, a member from the content team and the marketing team, we created an animation that gave a story to Sequel’s journey.
The storyboarding and art direction was a joint effort, however was finalised by the creative director. The animation and editing were all done by myself.

Nationwide have been undergoing a major investment into their people and the way that they work. The client requested an animation to go alongside this major announcement that would inform and educate the employees of what’s in store.
Having quite strict brand guidelines on their characters, there wasn’t much creative freedom to deviate from the design and form of the visuals. However, with some tweaks to their current designs and working closely with the brand team at Nationwide, we were able to create something that was unique to their other communications.
Working with a sound designer we were able to add an extra layer of interest and engagement.
This video worked as the main video from a set of three. The other two had an additional section added to the end which was user generated content from one of the members of the team at Nationwide, aimed at two user groups within the company.

Bupa launched a Personal Energy campaign, focusing on the best ways to motivate their employees and strike the best work life balance. They released an online booklet, an app, seminars and the two animations to finalise the campaign.
One of the biggest challenges with this project was making sure that the timings of the voice over were in line with what was on screen. This was done by either adding more animation so that it didn’t sit on a still frame for too long or by cutting it down so that it would move in time with the voice over.
The storyboards were designed by a member of the design team, I then prepared them for animation, animated and did the final edit to bring the voice over, music and animation together. These videos were then converted to a square format to fit within the app.

Octopus wanted a video to explain their inheritance tax guidance to their customers. With the topic of inheritance tax being complex, the levels of detail required within this video was vast. The initial script took the draft voice over to around 8 minutes. After some discussions we managed to drastically cut this down so that the viewer would remain engaged throughout the whole animation.
The client also wanted a “sketch on” style, with it being drawn onto a white board or bit of paper. I worked closely with a designer who constructed the storyboards to get the best outcome that we could for the length of the video.

Energy Networks Association (ENA) wanted an animation produced to give an overview of their latest initiatives for saving money and reducing their carbon emissions.
Working closely with the creative director, they came up with the style-frames and storyboard, I was then tasked with animating them to bring them to life.

Nationwide were releasing a new campaign called “Member Missions”, this aimed at giving their members a better overall experience. The animation was to showcase these changes and explain how Nationwide would be keeping up with the changes in technology.
Working alongside their brand guidelines and using previous animations they have done as reference, they preferred a simpler approach with it being very icon led. And so, I was able to stick to this approach and introduce a couple more assets such as the characters. There were some graphics that were provided to us by the client that couldn’t be changed, such as the fidget spinner.
This is now an outdated project as they have since updated their brand guidelines. However, the client is still using this in various communications throughout the company.

Octopus Investments wanted a video to highlight the importance of VCT and small business investments to share with their customers. We used a light beam effect that ran through the animation, this was used as a visual aid and a way to transition from scene to scene. This, alongside the other neon effects were created using the Red Giant suite.
Working alongside a designer, we created something that the client was very pleased with.
